Fees

Registration and Membership with KTSC and Swimming SA/Australia is a compulsory annual process for swimmers and both parents/guardians. Without complete membership & payment, swimmers are unable to compete. All fees are payable via the Swim Central Portal.

1. KTSC Club membership fee.

This fee is necessary for registration and also contributes towards club activities and events.

2. Swimmer Registration fee.

This fee registers EACH child swimmer with Swimming SA / Swimming Australia for competition.

3. Parent /Guardian Registration fee.

This fee registers and records each PARENT/GUARDIAN with Swimming SA / Swimming Australia. Registered carers are responsible for officiating at meets when rostered. The KTSC Committee strongly suggests BOTH parents register as WWCC requirements prevent parents from simply swapping duties on the day UNLESS both are registered. 

The strength of the KTSC Committee  recommendation can be seen by the fact that should the rostered parent be unable to officiate on the day of competition, and if the other parent is not a registered member and unable to officiate, the child swimmer may not be able to compete. To be able to ‘substitute’ BOTH parents must be registered with Swimming SA/Australia.

As mentioned within our Membership: 

1. Training squad fees are paid via a pre-paid arrangement to Kent Town Swim.
2. Following an assessment, the Head Coach will determine in which squad a swimmer will be placed. There are five squads available: Junior Development, State, National and Performance.
